So we want to know what you think...this blog is a way for us to exchange ideas, give opinions, and anything else you can think of. We like to call it 'Creole Reasoning' - those things we say that only we understand like 'Imma go take my bath' (as if you could take someone else's). Those things that get lost in the translation, you know, those things that are unique to us. Is there something specific you want to discuss? Tell us and we'll post it.

So far the response to the site has been wonderful! There are Charbonnets all over this country, and it's nice to finally have a place where we can all communicate. 2009 here we come!
Just wanted to say how proud I am of my daughter for taking on such a huge project. What fantastic work! Thanks a million to all who have helped and to those who will -WELL DONE, sweetie pie! Mama
Finally figured it out ...
Been lookin' for comments of cousins and not finding them until now. Knew they were here someplace ...
Sloane has done such a masterful job with this website! It's just beautiful. I'm hoping to learn about alla-yall in the days to come. Will check in often. But now I'm off for a 2-week training session in the Grand Canyon (can you imagine?). Will report when I get back after 2/23. Meanwhile, get busy posting. The Charbonnets have finally converged!
Hi Sloane and all...
What a wonderful site!!!
You did a great job!
What makes me most glad is that my 2 girls (Gabriella and Eva )will know that they are connected to a wonderful group of folk...most, of course, whom I still look foward to meeting!
God Bless

You all have done an outstanding job. I look forwad to seeing you gys at Daddy's B-day in March.
Just think, we had a couple of great reunions over the years packed with fun and food. I'm looking forward to what will be because of the younger generation of our clan! All of us, children of William and Stella Charbonnet, are truly blessed to have such wonderful children and grand children. Talk about "the apple of our eyes" plus brains and professionalism to boot. . . who could ask for anything more! Thanks team leader "Sloane", you are doing a wonderful job! I also commend your team mates for joining the project. We look forward to the prize packed project upon completion for the Charbonnets. Get ready!
God Bless you,
Enola
